Η 1η Ημερίδα Φοιτητών με τίτλο «Students for Agriculture» θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή 29 Ιανουαρίου 2016 και ώρες 15:00 με 20:30, στο ΚΕΔΕΑ του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, υπό την διοργάνωση της Κοσμητείας της Σχολής Γεωπονίας, Δασολογίας και Φυσικού Περιβάλλοντος του ΑΠΘ.
Η εκδήλωση τελεί υπό την αιγίδα του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλονίκης και του Ρωσικού Πανεπιστημίου Φιλίας των Λαών (Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia).
Στις εργασίες της Ημερίδας θα συμμετάσχουν 12 Έλληνες και 12 Ρώσοι προπτυχιακοί και μεταπτυχιακοί φοιτητές, καθώς και υποψήφιοι διδάκτορες, οι οποίοι θα παρουσιάσουν τα πορίσματα των μελετών τους, στον χώρο της αγροτικής έρευνας.
Η Ημερίδα εντάσσεται στις κοινές δράσεις της Σχολής Γεωπονίας, Δασολογίας και Φυσικού Περιβάλλοντος του ΑΠΘ και του Γεωπονικού και Τεχνολογικού Ινστιτούτου (Agrarian Technology Institute) του Ρωσικού Πανεπιστημίου Φιλίας των Λαών (Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia), στο πλαίσιο της συμφωνίας που υπογράφτηκε τον Απρίλιο του 2015 μεταξύ των δύο εκπαιδευτικών ιδρυμάτων.
Η Συμφωνία περιλαμβάνει ανταλλαγές φοιτητών και επισκεπτών Καθηγητών, κοινά ερευνητικά προγράμματα και δημοσιεύσεις, παραγωγή επιστημονικών συγγραμμάτων και διακρατικά μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα σπουδών.
